COYLE Celebrates a Year of Learning, Leadership, and Global Engagement

Over the past year, the Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) advanced its theme “Vision to Reality,” transforming ideas into meaningful action while empowering members with knowledge, leadership skills, and global connections.

COYLE focused on learning and development, offering programmes on Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision-making. A highlight was the Harvard Business School programme, exposing members to global strategic frameworks. The I Am COYLE Leadership Forum featured keynote speaker Jason Gillespie, inspiring entrepreneurs on teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

The chamber nurtured future entrepreneurs through Back-to-School initiatives at Lyceum International School and D.S. Senanayake College, sharing experiences and encouraging innovation among students.

International engagement expanded with meetings with high commissioners, inbound delegations from Taiwan, Switzerland, and Nepal, and strategic MoUs with JETRO, AHK Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lanka–New Zealand Business Chamber, creating pathways for trade and investment. COYLE also partnered with Sampath Bank and Mastercard to launch the COYLE World Mastercard, supporting business activities abroad.

The year included the launch of the Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivity Awards (SLCHPA) in partnership with JETRO, recognizing organisations prioritizing employee well-being. Collaboration through the Alliance of Lankan Entrepreneurial Chambers (ALEC) strengthened the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Chairman Manjula Wijesundara highlighted that COYLE’s focus on learning, leadership, and international partnerships continues to empower entrepreneurs and connect Sri Lankan businesses with the world, shaping a globally connected future.
