Roar Global, a mar-tech venture builder operating across platform ecosystems and artificial intelligence, has completed a landmark share buyback of its early institutional investor, BOV Capital, marking a major milestone in the group’s growth journey.

The transaction represents a full exit for BOV Capital and results in further ownership consolidation at Roar Global, enhancing strategic alignment and flexibility to support long-term value creation.

Commenting on the development, Roar Global Chairman Sattar Kassim said the ownership consolidation aligns the group’s capital structure with its long-term ambitions. He noted that the move strengthens governance, sharpens strategic focus, and enables more disciplined capital allocation as the company scales its platforms and AI capabilities globally. Kassim also expressed appreciation for BOV Capital’s support and partnership during Roar Global’s formative years.

BOV Capital was an early institutional backer of Roar Global and played a key role in supporting the company’s evolution from its early stages into a diversified mar-tech venture group, providing both capital and strategic guidance.

BOV Capital Managing Partner Prajeeth Balasubramanium described the buyback as a successful exit and a validation of the firm’s investment philosophy of backing resilient founders with long-term vision. He highlighted Founder and CEO Mustafa Kassim’s leadership in building Roar Global into a mar-tech powerhouse and noted the value created through close collaboration with the Roar team. Balasubramanium added that the milestone reflects the growing strength of Sri Lanka’s startup ecosystem and wished Roar Global continued success in delivering its 2030 vision.

The share buyback positions Roar Global for its next phase of growth, aligned with its 2030 strategic roadmap, which includes expansion into additional markets, AI-led platform development, and selective acquisitions across the mar-tech landscape.

Founder and CEO Mustafa Kassim said the buyback marks an important chapter in the company’s journey, providing greater flexibility and control as Roar Global enters its next growth phase. He noted that the group remains focused on building strong foundations, investing in critical capabilities, deepening platform and AI expertise, and scaling selectively where long-term value exists. Kassim also acknowledged BOV Capital’s early belief in the business and its support during a pivotal stage of growth.

The milestone follows a strong operating year for the group. Roar Global closed 2025 with solid momentum, recording 60 percent year-on-year revenue growth in the third quarter, driven by disciplined execution across its portfolio and rising demand for platform-native, performance-led solutions.

Roar Global operates a connected portfolio of mar-tech ventures spanning performance marketing, content and production, creator and UGC ecosystems, AI-driven brand visibility, and global AI capability-building solutions. Its portfolio includes Roar AdX, 3P Media, Roar Media, CreatorFlow, Apex AI, and BrandRadar, each supported by a shared operating backbone of technology, talent, and strategic playbooks.

Beyond financial performance, the group’s growth has contributed to meaningful job creation, with over 150 specialists employed across digital marketing, platforms, AI, content, and automation, building globally relevant expertise from Sri Lanka and the wider APAC region.

With a strengthened ownership structure, an expanding venture portfolio, and sustained demand across the mar-tech ecosystem, Roar Global enters 2026 well positioned to continue building and scaling businesses for the next era of digital growth.
