Police suspect suicide over death of young man at Colombo hotel

The Police are suspecting suicide over the death of a young man at a leading hotel in Colombo.

According to the Police, a letter was found in the possession of the youth, in which he had apologized to his mother saying he was sad and tired.

The Police said the 29-year-old man was a resident of Kandy and had checked into the hotel in Colombo on Sunday.

He obtained a room on the 16th floor of the hotel and his body was found on Monday on the 4th floor.

Further investigations are underway. (Colombo Gazette)
