Nick Carter cancels Sri Lanka gig to return home

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter cancelled his scheduled performance in Sri Lanka as well as a number of other countries, to return home over what he termed as “unforeseen circumstances”.

The singer issued a video message expressing regret over having to cancel the shows.

Nick Carter cancelled scheduled performances in India, Sri Lanka, Korea, the Philippines, and the Middle East.

Local organisers assured ticket holders that refunds will be processed quickly and efficiently.

“We hope to stay in touch regarding future developments and extend our support to Nick, his management and his family during this time.”

Organisers said that they, the partners, and promoters in Asia are actively working on rescheduling negotiations and ensuring a swift refund process. (Colombo Gazette)
