Two firemen injured during massive Horana fire

Two firemen sustained injuries during a massive fire which destroyed a factory in the Horana Investment Zone.

The fire at a factory producing cinnamon oil and fragrances lasted for several hours and was fully contained by Friday morning.

Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, Chathuranga Abeysinghe said that the fire was contained with the assistance of several fire brigades, the Navy and Air Force.

The Minister said that one building was completely destroyed in the fire but there were no casualties among the employees. (Colombo Gazette)

CID asked to investigate how letter to ICRC leaked
