Ruling party member Dilan Perera calls for boycott of LIOC fuel

A member of the ruling Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and former Parliamentarian Dilan Perera has called for a boycott of Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) fuel. Sri Lanka to bring back students stuck in Russia

Sri Lanka is taking steps to bring back students stuck in Russia and surrounding areas. Acting Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said that Sri Lankans stranded in several countries are expected to be brought back over the next few days. FBI hunts for Sri Lankan-born American wanted for rape of minor

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is hunting for a Sri Lankan born American wanted over the rape of a minor. Chaminda Prabhath Palliyaguru is wanted for his alleged rape of a six-year-old victim on March 7, 2020, in Franklin County, Ohio.
