Hirunika, Eran, Mano, Vrai fail to secure seats from Colombo

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya’s Hirunika Premachandra, Eran Wickramaratne and Mano Ganesan and National People’s Power (NPP) member Vrai?e Cally Balthazaar have failed to secure seats in the new Parliament from the Colombo District.

The Colombo District preferential votes list showed Sajith Premadasa, Dr. Harsha De Silva, Mujibur Rahman and S.M Marikkar securing seats in the new Parliament from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.

This meant Eran Wickramaratne and Mano Ganesan lost their seats in Parliament.

Meanwhile, Vrai?e Cally Balthazaar failed to secure sufficient votes to be elected to Parliament from Colombo through the NPP.
