Dinesh, Ravi, Thalatha, Nimalka in NDF National List

Former Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, former Minister Ravi Karunanayake, former MP Thalatha Athukorale and activist Nimalka Fernando are in the National List of the New Democratic Front (NDF) led by former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Wickremesinghe had already announced he will not be contesting the election and will also not enter Parliament through the National List.

The NDF will be contesting the election under the gas cylinder symbol.

Australian company to begin retail fuel operations in Sri Lanka this year

United Petroleum of Australia is to sign a deal to begin retail fuel operations in Sri Lanka by mid this year.
