Ranjan Ramanayake returns to politics with new political party

Former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake returned to politics and announced the launch of his own political party.

Ramanayake, a former member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, said that he formed the United Democratic Voice as other political parties were accused of opening their doors to corrupt people.

He said that there was a need for him to return to politics with a new, clean political party.

Ramanayake said that his political party will be a voice of the voiceless with the mic the party symbol.

Former Sri Lanka cricket captain T.M Dilshan and former Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Parliamentarian Vadivel Suresh are part of the new party.

Dilsha?has been appointed as the national organizer of the new party. (Colombo Gazette)

TMVP to push for devolution
