Thailand to sign 4 deals with Lanka

Thailand and Sri Lanka will sign four agreements to strengthen relations between the two countries during Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s visit to Colombo, the Bangkok Post reported. The three-day visit begins on Friday. Mother and child killed in accident

A mother and child succumbed to their injuries following an accident in Mawathagama last evening, the police media unit said today. The accident took place when a car veered off the road and crashed into the front porch of a house where the mother and child were seated. The accident had taken place along the Kandy – Kurunegala road at the Kahagolla junction.
