A team of UAE police officials and doctors have arrived in Sri Lanka to investigate the death of an Emirati mother and her 14-month-old child. The family of three from Ras Al Khaimah arrived in Sri Lanka on an Etihad flight at 5am on Tuesday and were taken to the emergency room of Hemas Hospital at 8pm. UNHRC chief meets Tamil politico

The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) President Laura Dupuy Lasserre on Friday had discussions on Sri Lanka with a Tamil politician, sources in Geneva told the Colombo Gazette.
