Sri Lanka raises US$2.0bn from sovereign bonds

Sri Lanka has raised 2.0 billion US dollars from 5 and 10 year sovereign bonds issued yesterday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka said today. US relaxes travel advise on Sri Lanka

The United States has relaxed the travel advise on Sri Lanka issued after the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks. The US Embassy in Colombo said that the travel advisory level for has moved from 3 to 2.
