A group of Sri Lankans who returned to the country today got themselves checked-in at luxury quarantine centers, for a price. A number of luxury hotels offered rooms to the Government to be used as quarantine centers. Last digit NIC rule from 11 May when curfew is in effect

The National Identity Card (NIC) rule will be in effect only from 11 May and not immediately, the Police said today. Sri Lanka has not yet received USD 127 million in promised aid, the Finance Ministry said.
