Ambassador Yi Xianliang hosted a reception to celebrate the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People?s Republic of China at the Sirimavo Bandaranayake Hall, BMICH Premises, Colombo. Minister Rajitha Senaratne was the Chief Guest. A Cultural Dance performance from China, entertained the Guests during Cocktails. A treat for chocoholics on World Chocolate Day

Chocolate Lovers had the time of their lives at Mount Lavinia Hotel (MLH) on World Chocolate Day. MLH presented an all you can eat buffet coated in chocolate giving the opportunity for chocoholics to try out a range of dishes. The buffet included flavoures from Sri Lankan spiced chocolates to all time favourites and chocolates for the heart. St. Lawrence’s Convent class of 83′ reunion

The class of 83′ of St. Lawrence’s Convent, Wellawatte, held a reunion on July 7th at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo. While most of them are living overseas, the group had met after 34 years. Most of the group of 83′ celebrate their 50th birthday this year and found this to be an opportune period to organise a reunion.
