Fourteen children injured after school van crashes into tree

Fourteen children sustained injuries after a school van crashed into a tree in the Kuruwita area. The Police said the driver of the vehicle lost control of the van resulting in the van crashing into the tree. The accident occured when the children were heading to school. According to the Police, the children were aged between 11 and 14 years. The driver of the van and a woman who was in the vehicle at the time also sustained injuries. (Colombo Gazette)
