Flood warning issued as water levels of several rivers rise

A flood warning has been issued as water levels of several rivers began to rise last night following heavy rain. The water levels of the Kelani River, Kalu Ganga (river), Gin Ganga (river) and Nilwala river rose last night. The Irrigation Department urged residents living in close proximity to the rivers to remain vigilant. Kaushi appointed coordinating secretary to the PM

Actress, model and former TV presenter Kaushi Weddikkaraarachchi has been appointed as a coordinating secretary to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
