Ethul Kotte resident becomes latest coronavirus victim

A resident of Ethul Kotte has become the latest coronavirus victim confirmed by the Ministry of Health. The coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increased to 256 today following the death of a woman from Ethul Kotte. Final wage proposal submitted for plantation workers

A final proposal has been submitted towards ensuring a sustainable earnings model for the plantation sector. Sri Lanka to commence flights to Myanmar

Sri Lanka will commence flights to Myanmar in the post COVID-19 phase, the Foreign Ministry announced. Issuing a statement, the Ministry said Sri Lanka expects to commence charter flights from mid- 2021, while airports will reopen for tourism from 21 January 2021.
