A suspect has been arrested over the incident of a man being found with gunshot injuries in Maligawatta. A 35 year- old resident of a housing complex in Maligawatta is receiving treatment at the Emergency Unit of the Colombo National hospital after being found with gun-shot wounds on Saturday (30). Maldives repatriates locals stranded in Sri Lanka

A total of 103 Maldivians repatriated from three countries arrived in the Maldives early Sunday via Sri Lankan Airlines, The Edition reported. Section of Mount Lavinia artificial beach washed away

By Indika Sri Aravinda A section of the newly constructed artificial beach is Mount Lavinia has been washed away. Sea erosion has resulted in part of the sand just recently filled being washed away.
