Sri Lanka accused of failing to implement security sector reforms

The Government has been accused of not meeting its pledge to curtail police abuses prior to the March 2017 session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. BASL postpones elections over dispute on judge

The BAR Association has postponed the elections scheduled to be held tomorrow owing to a dispute on the appointment of a High Court judge. UN members urged to provide Lankan war victims safety
