Sri Lanka’s Yupun Abeykoon won the bronze medal in the men’s 100 m finals at the Commonwealth Games 2022 being held in Birmingham.
Abeykoon clocked 10.14 seconds to win the bronze behind Kenyan Ferdinand Omanyala who won the Gold with a time of 10.02s and South Africa’s Akani Simbine who came second.
Abeykoon had qualified for the final after being placed 4th in the third semi-final earlier in the day.
