GGG activists deny links to new political party

Activists at Gota Go Gama (GGG) today denied links to moves to form a new political party by some demonstrators at Galle Face.

Key members of Gota Go Gama held a press conference today to brief the media on their future plans.

Speaking to reporters, the GGG activists said that they condemn moves by some demonstrators at Galle Face to form a political party.

They alleged that the attempt is a move to split the demonstrators at Galle Face.

The GGG activists also said that they will not protest near Parliament both today and tomorrow.

Instead, they urged the public to gather in their own towns and villages and protest against Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe. (Colombo Gazette)

Probe sought on missing passport, NIC of Wimal’s wife

An investigation has been sought into the missing passport and National Identity Card (NIC) of Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa’s wife Shashi Weerawansa.
