Advanced level exam likely to be postponed

The G.C.E. Advanced Level examination is likely to be postponed, Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said today.

The Minister told Parliament that the exam will most likely be postponed by one month.

The examination was scheduled to be held in October and November this year.

The Examinations Department had announced in April that the 2022 A/L examination will be held from October 17 to November 12. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Does this minister know anything about the mental preparation of the student. They keep learning/practicing until they are ready to peak on the said period. Then they relax. This is the same as the athlete who wants to physically perform at the peak form. When the event is postponed, they lose the tempo and it will take some time to restart the whole process. Some students may develop indifferent attitude towards the exam/competition. Why are you trying to destroy the future generation? You guys in the Parliament are expired items, and your shelf life is over.
