TNA MP threatens to stage “Go Home China” protest

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP Shanakiya Rasamanickam has threatened to stage a “Go Home China” protest. Speaking in Parliament today, Rasamanickam lashed out at the Chinese Embassy in Colombo for tagging him on social media and attacking him over comments he had made in Parliament this week. The MP said that he had every right to make comments in Parliament on any subject. Crew from Sri Lanka on detained ship in Nigeria in good health

A Sri Lankan crew on a ship detained in Nigeria are in good health, the Foreign Ministry said today. The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Kenya, Velupillai Kananathan joined a consular visit to the vessel M/T Heroic IDUN along with the High Commissioners/ Diplomats of India, Poland and the Philippines on 27 November, 2022.
