Ranil takes oaths as Finance Minister

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was sworn in today as the Minister of Finance.

He was also appointed as the Minister of Economic Stability and National Policies.

The Prime Minster took oaths as the Finance Minister before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today. (Colombo Gazette)

    Isn’t this a lie can’t we go for local borrowing to raise this money? IMF is not going to be happy with printing money and this might stop and international assistance that was to come in the near future.

  4. Harsha de Silva another failure added to the SJB and their strategy to avoid hard times and playing the waiting game to enter politics when times are calmer.

    No one will vote for politicians like you selfish power hungry lot of politicians.

    Those who step up in hard times will rise up and those who play the SJB games will lose.

    Rajapaksas and the SJB should go home too.

    If true they are inviting another thrashing from the people who are facing a crisis that gets worse each day this Government fails to take action…
