  1. Listening to Sajith give and interview or speech in English is a special kind of comedy. Priceless entertaining but not someone I want to be a head of state.

    • Dear Silva, At least Sajith have a backbone to put a few conditions before joining with the Rajapaksas. Unlike the other corrupt and foolish politicians who put their hands up to join the government to protect themselves from corruption cases and also to have a ministerial position at the expense of the people’s hardships.

Yesterday, Ranil Wickremesinghe said that he has accepted Prime Minister position because he had free education. Already, he has been failing the country 5 times as a Prime Minister because he had free education :—-)))

Perhaps, the country could have saved some money and avoided Ranil Wickremesinghe become Prime Minister 6th time, if the country had forced him to pay for his education :—)))

The truth is Sri Lanka continues to face losses by providing free education to Ranil Wickremesinghe :—)))

Sri Lanka appointed him as a Prime Minister 6 times, especially during the Good Governance government so he could allow the corrupt politicians get off scot-free to plan Easter Sunday bombings to gain the power at expense of country’s economy and international reputation. Let’s see how many Ranil’s allies will continue to help Sri Lanka financially, in order to keep him in power.

  2. I am keen to see how Ranil Wickremesinghe would fix the problem.

The western powers and India sent Mahinda Rajapaksa home, but the million dollar question is who will send the lazy people home who only work a few hours a day as government employees? Who will send the dishonest teachers home who teach as little as possible at schools to make more money from tuition classes? Who will send the corrupt police customs officials home who get bribes? The people are fooling themselves by overlooking their own lies, laziness and dishonesty; meantime they are hoping to become a developed country by changing their leaders. The political leaders didn’t fall from the sky, they came from the community. So, Sri Lanka needs tough leader who can change the people’s mindset; otherwise Sri Lanka cannot come out from the current predicament.

Sri Lanka’s foreign debt is a by product of your political system and useless mindset.

In China people do not waste time or create unrest by using religion, language or caste system. But in South Asia, leaders are using language and religion to keep their power. This is a big loophole in South Asia and it will continue to impact the economy negatively. Riots and wars destroy investments, skills and lives, perfect examples are 1983 riots and decades long civil war. Extended religious activities encourages people’s laziness, example poya day every month. Sri Lanka has too many public holidays. This will impact the economy negatively.

Worst of all, Sri Lankan leaders listen to Buddhist monks above others. Those Buddhist monks don’t even earn a rupee but beingl dependent on others. However, Sinhalease leaders put those Buddhist monks on their head and dance. Overall, Sri Lanka’s political structure is wrong. As long as voting system exists, religion and language will continue to undermine the country. I firmly believe that the western powers would not have introduced the democratic system, if there was a tiny chance for South Asia to come up above the western countries by using the democratic system.

  3. So far, Sajith and his party is doing good. Shame on others who sell themselves for a position or accepting ministerial positions to protect themselves from corruption cases.

Ranil Wickremesinghe has failed Five times as a Prime Minister. He could have prevented Easter Sunday bombings, if he had done a good job during the good governance government. If he had done everything to strip the public assets from corrupt politicians, Easter Sunday bombings would not have happened. Because those corrupt politicians would have been busy in protecting themselves and hiding their assets. The people are well aware of it, that is why they didn’t vote for Ranil Wickremesinghe.

However, morally bankrupt Gotabaya Rajapaksa has offered a Prime Minister position to an utter loser. Gota says he has a mandate of 6900000 votes, but passed his mandate to a loser who was rejected by the people. It will get ugly and Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be remembered for generations as a betrayer of people’s mandate.

  4. Party with bad leadership. Many will soon leave some have already gone to do medical check ups of the brain. Smarter politicians will not sink their political life with this foolish part that has no plans on how to get the country out of this crisis…
