PM assures step-by-step solution to crisis

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today assured a step-by-step solution to the ongoing crisis.

Speaking in Parliament, the Prime Minister said that the crisis cannot be resolved in a day or two.

However, he assured that a step-by-step solution is being worked on to end the crisis.

The Prime Minister assured that the electricity crisis will end soon and other issues will also be resolved.

He said that Sri Lanka will be receiving the required stocks of fuel soon and so Sri Lanka will not face a serious shortage of fuel.

The Prime Minister also said that Sri Lanka will bring about a change to the Constitution with the support of Parliament and the public. (Colombo Gazette)

Over 130 new coronavirus patients detected in Sri Lanka today

Over 130 new coronavirus patients were detected in Sri Lanka today (Tuesday), the Health Ministry said. The Health Ministry said that most of those detected today are Sri Lankans who returned from Kuwait. Medical faculties to reopen for final year students

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to reopen the Medical Faculties of all state universities for final year students only, from 15 June 2020.
