Mahindananda Aluthgamage found to be infected

Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage?has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Minister said that he fell ill this evening (Tuesday) and decided to take a rapid antigen test.

Aluthgamage said that the results from the test showed that he was infected.

As a result, he said that he and his family self-isolated as a precautionary measure.

He also appealed to all those he came in contact with since 27th July to self-isolate. (Colombo Gazette)
