Postal vote applications to be accepted from Friday

The acceptance of applications for postal votes for the General Election 2020 will commence on Friday (06), the National Election Commission said. Sri Lankans seek clearance to return to Kuwait

Sri Lankan expatriates returning to Kuwait have been requested by the country to undergo testing for coronavirus and to produce health certificates showing they are free of the deadly virus. Champika permitted to travel overseas

The travel ban imposed on former Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka was temporarily lifted by the Colombo Additional Magistrate?s Court today. A travel ban was imposed on the former Minister over an accident which took place in Rajagiriya in 2016.
