Navy arrests 11 Rameswaram fishermen for poaching

The Sri Lankan Navy has arrested 11 Rameswaram fishermen on charges of poaching and seized their two boats, The Hindu newspaper reported. Government denies claims probe on media attacks stalled

The Government today denied claims that investigations over attacks on the media have stalled. Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayake told Parliament today that there was a delay to gather evidence in some cases.
