The body of an unidentified individual has been recovered from the Diyawanna–Oya in Battaramulla.
The Police said the body was recovered this morning.
A group of Navy officials were deployed to the location to recover the body.
The Police further said investigations are underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased. (Colombo Gazette)
