China to construct hybrid renewable energy system on Delft Island

China has been awarded the contract to install a hybrid renewable energy system in three islands off the coast of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. Coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increases to 270

The coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increased to 270 today, the Government Information Department said. The Government said that six more deaths were reported today. The latest victims were from Colombo 3, Colombo 15, Modara, Kalutara, Dehiwala and Ratnapura. One victim is a 63-year-old female from Colombo 03.
