Coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increases to 66

The coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka has increased to 66 with five more deaths reported today.
The Government Information Department said that the latest victims were residents of Colombo 10, Ratmalana, Kirulapana, Colombo 2 and Dematagoda.
A 65-year-old man from Colombo 10 died at the Welikanda Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus. He died from high blood pressure and the coronavirus.
A 69-year-old woman died at her residence in Ratmalana from high blood pressure, diabetes and the coronavirus.
A 71-year-old woman died at her residence in Kirulapone and her cause of death was also identified as high blood pressure, diabetes and the coronavirus.
An 81-year-old woman from Colombo 2 died at the Colombo National Hospital. The cause of death was pneumonia and the coronavirus.
An 82 year-old man died at his residence in Dematagoda. The cause of death was identified as diabetes and the coronavirus. (Colombo Gazette)
