Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Slave Island, Dam Street to be isolated

Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Slave Island and Dam Street in the Colombo District will be isolated from Monday.

The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 said that the restriction imposed on residents in the Western Province from leaving or anyone from outside entering the Western Province will be lifted at midnight tomorrow (Sunday).

Meanwhile, the isolation imposed on 12 Police divisions in the Colombo District will remain until further notice.

In addition, the Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Slave Island and Dam Street Police divisions in the Colombo District will be isolated from 5.00 am on Monday.

These areas have been declared as isolated areas as part of efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Why is this Government refusing to give every Sri Lankan 25,000 rupees a month from the IMF like all responsible nations around the world!? Your good friends China is not willing to give every citizen 25,000 rupees per month so go to the IMF or allow the opposition to run the country…
