Movements restricted for residents of several housing schemes

The movements of residents at several housing complexes have been restricted.

Accordingly, the movement of residents of the Methsanda Nivasa, Mihijaya Sevana, Modara Ranmina Sevana, Sirisanda Uyana Dematagoda and the Maligawatta National housing scheme have been restricted.

Police spokesman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that no one can leave these housing schemes.

He said the residents of these housing schemes must remain indoors until further notice. (Colombo Gazette)

Two Russian warships have entered Sri Lankan waters, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
