One person killed, another injured in Hanwella shooting

One person was killed and another person sustained injuries following a shooting incident in Hanwella today. The gunmen had arrived in a van and opened fire in the Embulgama Junction in Hanwella. The Police said that two people sustained injuries in the shooting incident and were admitted to hospital. A 23-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Ranil wants winning formula from UNP Presidential candidate

Tamil Nadu politician Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, daughter of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Muthuvel Karunanidhi, has had talks in Colombo with the Government and others.
