Passengers must do PCR test before leaving Sri Lanka

Passengers leaving Sri Lanka must do a PCR test before leaving the country, the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd said today.

The Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd said that the PCR test must be done within 72 hours before departure.

The new requirement will come into effect from effective 6pm on the 18th of October.

Meanwhile, SriLankan Airlines said that as per the directive issued by the Director General Civil Aviation of Sri Lanka (DGCA) today, all passengers departing Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport need to be in possession of a negative COVID-19 PCR test report taken 72 hours prior to the expected date of travel.
