Jeevan Thondaman gets State Minister post

Jeevan Thondaman, son of late Minister Arumugan Thondaman was appointed as a State Minister in the new Government today.

Thondaman was appointed as the State Minister of Estate Housing and Community Infrastructure Facilities.

He took oaths in the presence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today.

The new Government consisting of cabinet Ministers and State Ministers took oaths at a ceremony held in Kandy today.

Jeevan Thondaman contested and won a Parliament seat at the just concluded Parliamentary Elections following the death of his father. (Colombo Gazette)
