The High Commission said that there had been a confirmed Covid-19 case reported in the building, where the High Commission is located. Steps taken to ensure safety of Sri Lankan expatriates

The Government has taken measures to work with Sri Lankan Missions in South Asia to ensure the safety of Sri Lankan expatriates in the region. Fresh relief package announced to assist public

A fresh relief package was announced today to assist the public affected by the coronavirus pandemic in Sri Lanka. The President’s Office said that financial and other forms of relief has been approved by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The relief package includes assistance to three-wheel drivers, school van drivers and others who earn a living operating their motor vehicles.
