Ex monk sentenced over rape

A former Buddhist monk, who became notorious for the telephone conversations he had with women, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison over a rape case. Ruwanwella Sobitha alias Sunil Shantha was sentenced by a court in Kegalle today after he was found guilty of the crime involving a 28 year old woman.
