Students injured as Museum stairs collapse

At least 30 students were injured after the staircase at the Colombo National Museum collapsed, the police said. The students were rushed to the Colombo general hospital for treatment. Children from three schools including from Welimada and Hambantota were injured in the incident.

One killed, 4 injured in Kataragama

One person was killed and four others were injured following an accident in Kataragama this morning. The police said that a three-wheeler and a tractor had met with the accident at the Kataragama town.
