Over 100 Sri Lankans repatriated from Jakarta

A group of Sri Lankans, who were stranded overseas due to the coronavirus pandemic, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake early this morning.

A group of 110 Sri Lankans were repatriated from Jakarta in Indonesia.

The stranded Sri Lankans were brought back via a special flight chartered by SriLankan Airlines.

The Ministry of Foreign Relations has repatriated Sri Lankans stranded overseas in groups, based on requests made by them and their families. (Colombo Gazette)
