Operational guidelines issued for local cinema and teledrama industry

The Ministry of Health has issued operational guidelines for the local cinema and teledrama industry.

The Government says attention has been drawn to resume certain activities related to the cinema and teledrama industry.

The guidelines have been issued on the precautions to be taken by the industry to be protected from the coronavirus.

The guidelines include carrying out pre-production discussions using online conference methods.

All people on the set are required to adhere to health guidelines on hygiene and behaviour required to minimise the spread of the virus. (Colombo Gazette)

Two dead, another 2 in hospital after party at Wadduwa hotel

Two people died and another two are in hospital after attending a party at a hotel in?Wadduwa last night. The Police said that four people were admitted to hospital last night after attending the party. Two of them were later reported dead in hospital. The cause of death was not yet known.
