Anacondas born in Dehiwala

An Anaconda at the Dehiwala zoo gave birth to 31 babies last night, officials at the zoo said today. This is the third time anaconda babies were born at the National zoo. Most anaconda babies were gifted to other countries under exchange programs. The anacondas born last night are said to be in good health.

Two Lankans arrested in Kenya

Kenyan police and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officials arrested two Sri Lankan nationals for allegedly mining without a licence in Taita-Taveta County.
