Veteran Sri Lankan actor Tissa Wijesurendra passed away

Veteran Sri Lankan actor Tissa Wijesurendra passed away today. He was 71 years old.

Wijesurendra was one of the most popular actors in the 1970s. He has involved in many dramatic roles in a career spanning four decades.

He passed away while receiving treatment at the Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama. (Colombo Gazette)
