Committee appointed to block virus from entering Sri Lanka

A committee has been appointed to prevent the coronavirus from spreading in Sri Lanka. The 22-member National Action Committee has been established by the Ministry of Health. The committee has been appointed on the instructions of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Further tests confirm four patients in Sri Lanka not infected

Further tests have confirmed that four people admitted to hospital in Sri Lanka over fears they contracted the coronavirus are not infected. Four people tested in Sri Lanka for coronavirus cleared

Four people tested in Sri Lanka for the coronavirus have been cleared. The four people were tested for suspected symptoms of the virus but initial tests found they were not infected by the coronavirus. Further test are to be carried out.
