Over 270 stranded Sri Lankans return from Australia

Over 270 Sri Lankans stranded in Australia returned to the country today, officials said.

A group of 272 Sri Lankans returned from Melbourne, Australia on a SriLankan Airlines charter flight.

SriLankan Airlines’ flight UL-604 brought the Sri Lankans from Melbourne, Australia to Colombo.

The Sri Lankans were disinfected on their return at the Bandaranaike International Airport and were later directed to a quarantine center. (Colombo Gazette)
