Canada, Sri Lanka discuss fully-fledged Code Share Agreement

Canada and Sri Lanka have discussed and agreed in principle to have a fully-fledged Code Share Agreement, the Sri Lankan High Commission in Canada said. The discussion took place on the sidelines of the 39th tri-annual Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) which was held in Montreal, Canada. Sri Lanka enters into visa waiver agreement with Philippines

Sri Lanka and the Philippines further cemented relations with the signature of Visa Waiver Agreement for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders today at the Carlos P. Garcia Conference Room of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila. Chinese woman killed while taking selfie on train

A Chinese woman was killed while taking a selfie on a train in Ambalangoda this morning. The police said the 25 year old woman was thrown out of the train when she was taking a selfie on the foot-board of the train using her mobile phone. The woman was taken to hospital but had succumbed to her injuries. The Ambalangoda police are conducting investigations. (Colombo Gazette)
