The state intelligence agency briefed the cabinet on steps taken so far in the fight against the coronavirus, cabinet spokesman Bandula Gunawardena said today.
He said that the state intelligence agency gave a detailed briefing to the cabinet on the current status related to the virus in Sri Lanka.
Gunawardena said the cabinet was given a briefing on the clusters identified by the authorities where the virus spread and steps taken to quarantine people in those clusters.
Meanwhile, the Minister said that the state intelligence agency, will on Saturday, brief the media on matters related to the coronavirus.
He said that the briefing will be given to counter misinformation spreading on social media. (Colombo Gazette)
