Sri Lankan students repatriated from India

A group of Sri Lankan students who were stranded overseas due to the coronavirus pandemic landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake today.

The group consisting of 101 Sri Lankan students arrived from India.

They were brought to Sri Lanka via a special flight chartered by National Carrier Sri Lankan Airlines.

The Ministry of Foreign Relations is taking measures to repatriate all Sri Lankan students stranded overseas and are currently willing to return to Sri Lanka. (Colombo Gazette)

No inter-province travel ban in new health guidelines

An inter-province travel ban has not been enforced in a new set of health guidelines issued for the Christmas season.
