Two villages in Beruwala placed under isolation

Two villages in Beruwala have been placed under isolation after being identified as coronavirus high risk areas, the Army said today.

Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said that Pannila and Cheena Koratuwa in Beruwala have been cordoned off.

He said that no one will be allowed to leave or enter the two villages until further notice.

Meanwhile, the isolation period for Atalugama in Bandaragama ended today. (Colombo Gazette)
